The chip spreader is essential equipment in the road construction and maintenance. It is mainly used to spread chips after the asphalt spraying according to construction technology requirements. Pls. see figure 1 for the outline of the chip spreader.

Our SS3000C Chip Spreader is designed in traction structure. During working, a dumper truck is connected with the spreader through a traction arm to backward driving for chip spreading. It is convenient to install and disassemble. One set of chip spreader is enough for a project. The spreading width of SS3000 chip spreader can be adjusted within its maximum. The allowed aggregate size and density of can be set according to the designing requirement. The spreading working is even and convenient. 

Main performance

a）      The allowed aggregate size is ranging widely, which can meet the spreading requirements of aggregate for majority.

b）      The spreading rate is even irrespective of the truck speed.

c）      The spiral speed is in step with the material roller, which is good for the material transfer.
